About me

Born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, raised in Ottawa, Ontario, and educated in Vancouver, British Columbia, I’ve experienced Canada coast to coast.
I recently graduated with a Master of Journalism degree from the University of British Columbia. I also hold a Bachelor in Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University.
I’ve worked as an associate producer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and reported for Canada’s largest national newspaper, the Globe and Mail. My work has appeared in other places such as the Vancouver Sun, the Ubyssey and I even traveled to India to report for PBS’ Frontline World.
I have a love of federal politics and public policy issues, nurtured through my education and through stints working on Parliament Hill and over two years working for the Department of National Defence. I have reported in all media, with a special focus on radio and online.
